Dennis Young – CEO & President
Mr. Young has a strong background in corporate and government relations, as well as a successful history in working with non-profit boards to maximize their effectiveness. Prior to joining TCDC, Young served as the President of the Orange County & Inland Empire Regions of Junior Achievement of Southern California. Before entering the non-profit sector, he served as the City Manager of a Southeast Los Angeles city with approximately 500 employees and an annual budget of $100 million. He has also enjoyed a 21-year corporate career with Hughes Electronics and General Motors. In addition, Young has served on the boards of several other community-based organizations including United Way of Greater Los Angeles, Volunteer Center of South Bay, El Camino College Foundation and Pediatric Therapy Network. Mr. Young was a student athlete in college and is active with the University of Southern California where he was a business major. He has a degree in Business and has participated in the Executive MBA Program at USC. As a former college athlete (golf & football), Mr. Young feels that the lessons learned from team and individual sports helped prepare him for life and the business world. He feels very fortunate to be blessed with an opportunity to give back to the local communities.
Susie Melgoza – Director of Clinical Services
Susie Melgoza has an extensive dental background, having overseen many reputable dental offices for over 30 years. Treatment coordinating, billing, financial contracting and staffing offices with over 30 employees are just some of the various tasks she has completed over the year. She is a strong believer of building a great practice for our patients and the community.
